Tonight, as the Cubs take on the Florida Marlins, it's Cubs Pink Ballcap night at the ballpark. Pink. Now, if that weren't annoying enough, the hats went out to the first 10,000 females age 14 and over. OVER. When children reach the age of 10-12 years old, it's typically the cut off for girls who wish to wear pink sports gear or boys wishing to bring their glove to the ballgame. Instead, the Cubs decide to give away these hats to mostly adult women. I can understand a young girl not caring about/wanting a pink hat, but what woman (or man, even) who claims to be a fan of the team, would ever sport a pink cap?
Pink is not a Cubs color.
But it looks so cute!
